a few sundays ago, i had the pleasure of joining a macro photography course at the seleger moor. had such a great day - and - as luck would have it, it was cold and rainy the few days before and again after - but the morning of our course dawned bright and sunny and comfortably warm. very lucky for me because du to the knee replacement i still have a lot of trouble kneeling so that i generally find it much more comfortable to just sit on the ground - and - in the case of some macro experiments when the flowers preferred to show their faces to the creepy crawleys - i ended up lying on the ground for a half our or so trying to figure out the best way to shoot upwards... certainly humorous for the other people in the park.

the day certainly prooved to me that i still have a lot to learn - but i purposely asked to join the april course so that i would then half all summer to practice...
